Just in last two week time period I have witnessed two loads destined for Portland ,Oregon being pulled out of our terminal in Fontana,Calif. I wonder what is going on at this point!

How Soon?? I know they are going through negotiations with the Teamsters Union at the present time!! Could it be before our contract expires??

Something is happening because YRC lost 720 Million dollars it was recorded in the 4th quarter 2017. There have been UPS Freight trailers coming onto our dock in Fontana recently!!
your an ass!!! yrc is a looser, but they didn't loose 720 million in 4th quarter , more like 7 mil and 14 mil for the year ending 2017. and that's yrcw that lost money, not so much the freight companys themselves..the parent holding company is the big loser, cause they steal so much from the freight companys to exist...

Most likely just loading NEW trailers as one ways.
It happens ALL the time.
A carrier will get a NEW trailer (sometimes from a different carrier) to load to a destination. When the trailer is unloaded,Then the trailer will be picked up by the end user.at the other end.

This is almost certainly what's happening. This is the only reason carriers use each other's equipment, but it does happen all the time. People forget that photos exist of Yellow hauling Reddaway pups new out of Great Dane Illinois a full year before they owned USF.

And Hyundai Translead builds all of their equipment in Mexico, so it's imported into California usually.
