I work for UPS and can tell you not everyone got the memo. I do a sleeper team run and forgot my electric razor once. When we got back I was in the sleeper and knew I should slip out without being seen. I was leaving through the guard shack and a Sup saw me and drug me in and wrote me up. Was told if it happen again I would be fired. This happen 2 weeks ago.

I guess I'm in the minority about this. I think it's a good idea to have some appearance/dress standards for employees who may deal with the public. Over the years we've slobbed down in general in my opinion. OK, take your shots, I'm ready!

I agree with it not being good about we've "slobbed" down. There are several chemical, petroleum and food plants around here. Won't let you in with facial hair or shorts. They give you paper pants and a face covering.

Agree , just look at all the Yellow companies , No uniforms , NO standards , we have guys wearing very very dirty old rags to work and offensive tee shirts & not a word is said , we should have some kind of a dress standard !

Yea, that was some trip. Everyone on I-87 wanted to take a picture of my set! Almost caused a real traffic jam trying to get into Black Bear in Pottersville for some chow.
