Want to know how this is being done at other terminals. We have extra weekend work on Sundays, it is road work. We are doing this by road classifaction seniorty. Is this how everyone else is doing it. We have 2 road drivers that want to work one has 4 years seniorty the other 13 years however the 4 year driver has class seniorty is this being done correctly

Yes, guarantee work, route bidding etc. is done by Class seniority. Company seniority is for layoffs, vac. and pay.

id chalenge that if it were me. Classification seniority is for bidding only, the way i see it. We have a signup sheet for weekend work and if no road driver signs it,it goes to a local driver who signed it.
