ABF got rid of them last month, only get a few skids a day & that’s a few to many....
Imagine same day delivery cost!!I ran across an article the other day talking about Amazon already struggling with the cost of next day delivery costs. It ain’t cheap!! Why do you think we are getting out?
Since Amazon started running their own delivery trucks, I have been part of group texts started by my neighbors trying to track down their packages. I have gotten requests to look at my security camera footage to see if an Amazon truck was in our cul de sac around the time the they marked the package “delivered”. More than a few times, the answer is “no” and then the package will either end up on my doorstep or actually make it to the intended address about two days later.
Amazon hired off the street and the quality definitely shows. You’re not going to get Chick-fil-A service when you have McDonald’s hiring standards.

UPS is so large that 13% immediate loss of Amazon revenue would be a mild hit against their next 2 quarters. But trust me, if UPS want's out for any reason, out they will go. As a company they can afford to take the hit. If the profit margin is to low from Amazon business, they will raise the rates. If Jeff say NO, UPS says goodbye. von.Good. Smart for Fx.
Amazon has it's claws DEEP in UPS, to the tune of 13% of their total volume.
You don't want a company being that big of your market,as they can pretty much dictate whatever they want.

13% loss a "mild hit" !????!
Not 0.0013%, THIRTEEN PERCENT.
You have bumped your head if you think a company the size of UPS having 13% of it's total volume gone, is a "mild hit" It would permanently alter the company.
What? You mean making their independent contractors deliver a 100 stops a day,in 16 hours,7 days a week, paying for their upkeep on their Uber car, or step van, making about $10 an hour, on average, is not working out?I ran across an article the other day talking about Amazon already struggling with the cost of next day delivery costs. I was quoting for a friend. Not sure you're on target with 100, our UPS guy makes 200 stops a day in our little town, I'd think FX would be close.
Just a guess, think you may be high on hourly scale, another guess.
I wish I could like this post twice. That's funny right there...I was quoting for a friend.
