I'm interested in starting my own company and running FedEx but other than buildagroundbiz i have no info on where to start. Can someone give me pointers.

We are all company drivers here employed by FedEx Freight.. not independent FedEx Ground contractors.. i don’t think you’re gonna get help here but maybe someone will chime in

My apologies. I was actually needing info on how to be an independent contractor. If anyone can point me I would appreciate. Thanks

1st pay your employees with a 1099 , 2nd dont offer benefits , 3rd hire immigrants

4th buy a truck that's a piece of crap. When I worked for a contractor, my foot went through the floor.

This was one of my earlier stops. That day was long and annoying. Nothing like heat coming in from a hole in the floor on a hot August day.

So you going to offer FedEx a lower rate than existing providers?

How will you do that if existing providers already use illegal aliens and pay those "employees" as 1099 "contractors"?

Independent... contractor for Fedex.

How does that make sense?

Either someone is independent (run for anyone), or slave to one company.

Am I missing something?
Employee misclassification?
Employee with truck payments?

That’s an access panel used to get to the bolts to change the muffler. Very common on that model of truck.
