I haven't heard anything but after years of being at the lowest pay rate, I'm sick of it. It seems right now we should have some leverage. How about a staying on bonus plus a pay raise?? 27.5 years and I am so ready quit but I won't because I'm 58 and don't want to start over.Has anyone heard that there will be a change in the GDP pay scale in June?
you got a better chance of hitting the lottery without buying a ticket than you do of fedex stepping up and taking care of it's employeesHas anyone heard that there will be a change in the GDP pay scale in June?
That would be a good start.Yes they are supposed to remove the B scale which is the lowest pay scale and pay everyone according to what region they are in. Atl region is where my barnyard is out of.

Its June lets see it. They will move as slow as they have with the new 401K.Yes they are supposed to remove the B scale which is the lowest pay scale and pay everyone according to what region they are in. Atl region is where my barnyard is out of.
Me too, but I seriously doubt it's true.Where did you hear that they are dropping the B level pay scale?? I hope this is true.
Well this rumor died quick
Maybe... Maybe not.Well this rumor died quick
Having a job fair at my terminal this Sunday. Trying to hire drivers, dock workers, and office people. Lots of competition for quality employees is bound to cause Fedex to up the ante on pay and benefits.Maybe... Maybe not.
FedEx is going to have to do something. When we look around at (1) who is hiring, and (2) what they are paying and (3) the benefits... All 3 of theses are "significant".
I think the only real question is how many good ( or even great) drivers will they lose, while they decide how best to respond. Weeks/months spent calculating a measured response will likely be costly. IMHO.
There are no great drivers left since I retired.Maybe... Maybe not.

Correct. They'll have to adapt, or shrink, and eventually fade.Maybe... Maybe not.

Amazon is swinging for the fences. Starting pay is better, working conditions are better, and benefits are better.
Fx simply won't be able to hire, or retain unless they up their game.
Have you noticed the lack of dock workers at any terminal near their distribution centers?I didn't know Amazon had an ltl trucking company?? Explain the jobs you are talking about.
