when the union comes to me near my yard or a hub and there are people doing that, ill consider. Otherwise, I'm not putting a target on my back when I'm the only one around signing a union card.

That’s the thing all these people who work here are afraid of retaliation no one ever wants to stand tall how can we succeed if all they do is talk just like the call off at my service center we got guys pushing the call off but yet they asked for the day off but that’s a prime example on how these guys operate they’re all big and bad until the time comes you can’t believe :
: they say at the end of the day they don’t want management to lol at them wrong but **** that rick up for what’s right and don’t fake it if you’re pushing a issue stand for it don’t say one thing and do another it’s a bunch of bullshit as for the union no one has the dignity to sign a card but they’re forgetting that they will help us they will fix the favoritism that goes on yeah we might not get more money but hey I rather have better benefits and job servuritybthese managers need to start getting help accountable for their actions just like we do!

Stuck my neck out in 2014, and the local teamsters didn't do hardly nothing. The driver committee did. We couldn't even get them to come stand at gate. I’m not afraid of retaliation... I’m afraid of a bankrupt pension. Honestly I’d rather deal with being screwed over for a little while for a short timer manager/supervisor than put my future in the hands of a corrupt organization. I’ve worked at a union barn before. The dues I paid were not worth the hassle. So go ahead and do a Cali call off... I’ll get called in early and do your run and have a nice little addition to my paycheck that next Friday. Fedex won’t change anything... you guys had your chance years ago with the union and you cried wolf.
