If they are like the ones we got ten yrs. ago they only hold 75 gallons of fuel.Anybody get to drive one yet?
They have a bigger fuel tank, but they are spring ride instead of an air ride suspension.
Maybe we should suggest office chairs with no cushions for mgrs. LolLol... I just can't believe that a company would buy truck's with out air ride suspension! They are starting to go cheap on our equipment purchases.
Also heard of new tractors with no hand brake in cab. Makes it impossible to check for air at back of a set of wiggle wagons. Why.....Lol... I just can't believe that a company would buy truck's with out air ride suspension! They are starting to go cheap on our equipment purchases.
Ten four. Volvos are the best by a mile.Kenworth/Peterbuilts have the worst interior layout ever.
Could they have located the air and trailer valves any further from the driver?
Gear selector controls way the hell over there, where I have to reach for them? Thats handy.
Volvo all the way! Where the air valves are located as they should , and the gauge area can hold my snacks, a cell phone , sunglasses, and a can of dip.

I did notice right away that in the picture it looked a little bit out of the way for the air valves. Is the radio just as inconvenient to operate too? Should I even inquire if they included a cup holder?Kenworth/Peterbuilts have the worst interior layout ever.

Having something that is clearly labeled PreTrip Brake Check would necessitate having employees with a modicum of reading comprehension. My Cascadia and a lot of the newest Kenworths INCLUDING this L truck have a valve on the dash (slider on this Kenworth) that clearly displays itself as PreTrip Brake Check. Same function as pulling a hand valve down including brake lights coming on, I like it better than using a bungee cord on a hand valve.
roog
I can't believe they are actually buying new city tractors. Nothing but reclassed road trucks at our barn for at least the last ten years. Having said that I would still rather have a Volvo with 500,000 miles on it than the "Smurf" size new KW,s.Lol... I just can't believe that a company would buy truck's with out air ride suspension!
