do you guys scale at the terminal if based off the weights it's possible to be overweight if there aren't any permanent scale sites on your route?
I know this may seem silly but I've gotten into an argument twice now with the linehaul dispatcher for scaling and then refusing to pull trailers that were 1200k over on an axle and the other put me over gross by 2000k.
He told me that there aren't any scales on my route and I don't need to scale.. he offered to "sign off" but I told him his signature doesn't mean anything to dot.
